Hand-painted Dupattas

On Kalapuri each dupatta is individually painted by hand by our artisan to create the colorful floral and geometric patterns in interesting color-combinations. 

This process of hand painting often leave behind large color imprints outside the motif outlines. This is the result of the human involvement in the process of the craft and such irregularities are the hallmark of all handmade, handcrafted product that gives it a unique edge over industrially produced fabrics and designs.
